Md. Mahmudul Hasan (1975-) is with the Department of English Language and Literature, International Islamic University Malaysia. He studied English Literature at the University of Dhaka and then went to the UK for doctoral studies.
After completing a PhD at the University of Portsmouth in 2007, he came back to Bangladesh to teach at the English Department of the University of Dhaka. He had a postdoctoral research stint at the University of Heidelberg in 2009-10.
He has published extensively with Brill, Georgia Southern University, IIIT, Routledge, SAGE, Wiley-Blackwell, Orient Black Swan, IIUM, and other presses. He is the Editor-in-Chief of Asiatic: IIUM Journal of English Language and Literature, a Q1 journal in Literature and Literary Theory.
